The Cederberg area is unique in that it comprises an untouched Karoo-like wilderness where guests will find beautiful wildflowers and small critters that are scarcely seen in other parts of the country. There is no cell phone reception or Wi-Fi at the Open Air Rooms. Please place your food order before 14:00 at Reception. Take warm clothing – it can get very chilly at night. Spacious 3 bedroom chalets that accommodate 6 or 8 people each are perfect for long stays. Kagga Kamma now offers a brand new, natural Open Air Room at a private platform set about three kilometers from the Main Lodge, between the most astonishing rock formations overlooking the fynbos plains. At the new open-air room, you and your partner can fully immerse yourselves in the wonders and sounds of the wilderness; the call of the jackal, the chatter of the birds and the sound of wind through the rock formations. Enjoy a refreshing and indulgent outdoor shower in the fresh air with a panoramic view under the stars or sun — all add up to an unforgettable experience. The ultimate relaxation; soak in a bath under the stars with no walls or ceilings to obstruct your view. Cool off in the natural rock pool. While enjoying a glass of sparkling wine, appreciating the natural wonders around you. Kagga Kamma Nature Reserve offers unique excursions and fun activities such as Rock Art Tours, guided Nature Drives and Quad Bike Safaris, Hiking trails and Stargazing at the mini Observatory. Relax at the Resort's swimming pool while marveling at the surrounding rock formations, or enjoy a sundowner as the sky changes color in the late afternoon. The Spa offers wellness treatments to relax and rejuvenate and of course, the spectacular landscape provides for the most remarkable views and astonishing backdrops at every turn, with subtle highlights as each day and season proceeds. An a la carte menu is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests can enjoy South African cuisine and a great wine selection from the nearby Cape Winelands.
